ACA as a "tax" *may* be a winning issue in November, but the precedent set by the Roberts opinion is a huge loss to individual liberty. If enough Republicans can hold serve in the House and can break serve in the Senate, and "independents" in swing states call the line for Romney, and this terrible bill is actually repealed, the Robert's decision will live on. ACA was bad for America, the Roberts decision is worse! Thanks to Roberts, future Congresses have the authority to tax anything. Buy cigarettes, pay a tax, DON'T buy them ALSO pay a tax. It may not be the Court's job to insulate Americans from their bad choices at the ballot, but it is their job to restrain the other branches when they exceed their constitutional authority.
