Sure why not, tax people for being Christian, tax them for not voting democrat, tax them for an decision they make or don't make. According to Benedict Roberts the power to tax is unlimited, and since if you don't pay a tax you can be jailed or sentenced to hard labor then heck why not just get it over with and bring back slavery. Roberts, Obama etc are not against slavery, as long as the slaves are of the right ideology
