This misuse of the language is because Liberalism is an addiction -- to power. An addict will tell any lie, expend any resource, betray any trust, to get more of what is craved. If a gambling addict needs a stake, he'll say he needs to buy groceries for his kids, medicine for his grandma, or that he's collecting for charity. Whatever he believes will get him the money to service his addiction. So it is with LIberals. If "denied access" of some group guilts people into giving them more power, they'll say that; if, in other political circumstances, DENYING ACCESS to some groups (even the same groups!) leads to them having more power, they'll do that. All our arguments miss the point. It's about power, not truth.
