The point is that the people are immoral; not just those people in prisons, not just gays, not just your neighbor, not just congress or the president of the united states. We are an immoral people based on a comparison of people who lived here only 70 or 80 years ago. That immorality pervades our culture, and therefor affects all our choices right down to electing a president. The federal government advocated immorality when it started favoring certain groups of people, making it important for all American's to join or create a group and become a needy minority, as a means to success as families and businesses; pushing aside morality as a characteristic for success.
