If there were a few Afghans killed as a result of the documents released by Wikileaks, that would be very unfortunate. Surely, if you care about Afghan civilians, you are more concerned about the thousands killed by our own government? From Wikipedia (bit.ly/oyh5S4), the lowest estimate for civilians killed directly by U.S. and coalition forces in Afghanistan from 2001-2011 is 6,215. That doesn't include enemy combatants, it doesn't include casualties caused indirectly by the war, which, when added together, are likely to be much, much higher. Nor does it include casualties of the Iraq War or any of our bombings in Pakistan or Yemen. Assange may enjoy being famous too, I don't know, but his purpose is to stop such atrocities.
