Thank you, Dr. Williams, for writing another common sense column. CT is seriously considering seriously curtailing our voter ID laws saying that minorities and the elderly cannot obtain voter IDs and requiring them to do so disenfranchises these groups. I say that it's racist to imply that minorities are incapable of meeting the simple requirement and that there are simple ways to help those truly in need. However, CT is a deep blue state, and I know the dems will prevail regardless of any and all objections. If I were a member of a minority group, I'd be insulted.
