Kenneth, You are so very wrong. T Doctors may have a "vested interest" in supporting the position of the Federal government but the vast majority don't. Why? Because their ethical obligation is to the patient. So, if your statement is correct, doctors are acting against their own interests to protect the patients. Despite that fact, there are limits to what they can accept and still survive. If Medicare reduces payments by 25-30% there will be a mass exodus of physicians from the program. But, not to worry, the government knows this and has no intention of implementing these cuts. They keep the law for the sole purpose of threatening physicians every year with it.
