You have got to be kidding!! Here are some indisputable historic facts that contradict this misguided post: (1) Brigham Young encouraged 500 men to enlist in the Mormon Battalion during the Mexican American War. They marched in the longest infantry march ever, building roads through territories that later became Arizona and New Mexico, ending up in San Diego California. The oath they took was to the United States military -- not "against America"! And this was while they were heading west with their families after being forced by mobs to leave everything behind in both Missouri and Illinois. (See "extermination order" of Gov Boggs.)
