John, when we finally have a system where insurance companies have to compete against each other nation-wide for our premium dollars, then you'll see rates plummet and choices go through the roof. People should be able to pick cafeteria-style for those services they want for themselves and their family members and have companies bid for consumers' business. Much like today when people fill out car purchase requests online- auto companies offer their lowest price and throw in extras just so you'll buy a car from them and not their competitor. Let's make the insurance companies compete - only then, without their state-run monopolies will insurance be affordable.
