Alabama was left out. The state senate and legislature in 2010 was won by the Republicans for the first time since 1876. One of the first things that they did was quit taking the union dues out of state checks. Union enrollment fell precipitiously. We are a right to work state also so the unions are on the rocks here in Alabama. There are still some left, one is too many, but they are going away as their tactics are killing the companies that have to put up with them.
