I have always thought that Bush Sr. did not deserve to be a one-term president and that we got the wrong son for two terms. The dad was derailed by the economy. Presidents are NEVER re-elected when the economy is bad. (Obama, are you listening?) It's too bad that voters think that way, because a president doensn't have much authority to "fix" the economy. We really should choose our presidents on their foreign policy expertise, which is where they have almost ABSOLUTE authority. And that's why we should have had another four years of Bush Sr.
