Medicaid growth under STIMULUS (funded by fed govt in 2009 & 2010) was a major contributor to budget shortfall. 1 out of every 5 persons in WI are on Medicaid thanks to generous % of poverty levels set up by Governor Doyle.

Facing a budget deficit estimated by some to exceed $3.5 billion by mid-2013, state leaders will need to address Medicaid funding issues in the coming months. Much of Wisconsin’s recent enrollment growth has not been funded with state tax dollars, but rather with federal stimulus funds.
Governor Walker was hired by taxpayers to balance the budget without raising taxes. The previous 8 years we had tax increases! Enought is enough.
