Thanks for the story, Doug. I thank your dad for the work that he did. It's sad that so many of his patients probably wouldn't have a shot at life today. I've heard that 9 out of 10 downs syndrome babies are aborted after diagnosis. While I can somewhat understand the fear of the unknown that comes with that diagnosis..why are babies being aborted for having a cleft lip/palate?
