But why would he do that, if he could simply argue, under York's reasoning here, that whether he was born in Hawaii, or Kenya, or Timbuktu, he was a citizen by birth, and that is the same, when there is no alternative definition, as "natural born citizen". Weren't many of the Founders, for example, citizens by birth rather than born in the "United States" to two citizen-parents? Which of them was not qaulified to be President? I am sure there were some, I am just asking???
