I believe Jesus only said that because the man was worshipping money, not because he was rich. Lazarus was a very rich man, but Jesus never told him to give all his money away, because his heart was for Jesus-not for money. Joseph of Arimathea was also a rich man whom Jesus never told to give his money away. Jesus was not a socialist, he was a capitalist who want the individual to help his fellow man, not Caeser(spelling).
