I would be interested in focusing upon similar lies like this, but with a mind toward them being under oath, and thus likely to rise to the level of a "high crime or misdemeanor". Since perjury is undoubtedly such a violation, further proceedings and lasting punishment could be meted out. I think there is probably such a great number of similar abuses that it is confusing as to which of these acts should be seriously pursued.
The Attorney General seems the most likely subject of such an approach right now. His statements seem to be obvious perjuries. What is more, a win here and there is not a good goal; we have to win and keep winning over the next couple of generations, in order to fix what is wrong now.
