I'm pretty old, I watch Glee, the message THROUGHOUT is always self-acceptance, and yes, it goes way out into left field sometimes to find examples but the basic message is always pure, whether it's cheerleaders and glee kids, or gays and their parents, whatever. (One child's grandmother disowned her, the other boy's blue-collar father said he always knew and is now his kid's biggest support - THIS IS REAL LIFE PEOPLE THIS STUFF HAPPENS EVERY DAY). Glee is OTT, that's the beauty of it, and they hit all the bases, you know, not just sexuality - handicapped kids, Downs Syndrome kids, smart kids, OCD (teacher) - everybody is OK and valuable on Glee. Try to argue with that.
