Here's the big question: Do you want maximum theoretical freedom? Or maximum sustainable freedom.
If you want maximum theoretical freedom, then you want Ron Paul style reforms.
If you want maximum sustainable freedom, then you realize that it is in vain to outlaw benevolence in the federal government via the constitution -- worse than in vain for it incentivizes special-interests to unite into a super-majority who then has the power to ignore the constitution over and over until the constitution becomes meaningless.
The solution therefore is to allow benevolent spending, but cap it...
Thus logic suggests "reform conservativism" over lbertarianism
