Jim McGovern forgets that government is an artificial construct for an association of people.
We the people gave it form, we gave it offices . . one of which he holds. We gave it a structure, the Constitution.
So he and Nancy are saying that one artificial constructed association can determine the fates of other artificial associations.
What a faulty logic.
We the people no what to do.
The difficulty of grasping the subtleties of self-organizing communities often makes it an easier sell to advocate coercive government power and top-down planning to solve specific problems or achieve certain goals. We often value intentions more than results. The failure of last century’s experiments with top-down economic planning speaks for itself.
