It is hard to see how the Bill of Rights, as written could be applied only to individuals. FIrst and foremost, in guaranteeing free association, it seems clear that the founders understood that some political speech required unified action. Then there's the guarantee of freedom of the press. Freedom of the press, to be meaningful at all, requires that rights be extended to corporate bodies. Any assertions to the contrary simply ignore history and reality.
It is virtually impossible, to restrict the political rights of voluntary association, including corporations, without seriously diluting the individual rights guaranteed heretofore. IMHO this amendment will fail.
