Just for the record, from a Constitutional perspective, the idea that an Executive Order ever automatically "becomes law" is treason. An Executive Order, from a Constitutional perspective, is an order from the President to those who work for him. It has (Constitutionally) no power over anyone not in the executive branch. To believe in Executive Orders as binding on all US citizens is to believe that the US is a dictatorship.
