Women are superior in their sensitivity to children and others. They are superior in their consciousness of economic security in the home, and are more likely to make decisions that enhance that security. They are superior in educating children about life and social skills. So what is so demeaning in being a full time mom? I am no way as sensitive as my wife about the needs of children, and I totally fail to detect deficiencies such as clothes and nutrition. Every thing purchased for any one in the family is totally evaluated as to style, practicality and need. Everything eaten in the home or elsewhere is given a measurement as to its nutrition value. I don't even sense when a child is not warmly clothed in cold weather.
