I think that Republicans need to talk about building the border fence as "shovel-ready" jobs.
I am only opposed to the white half of Obama - now I can oppose his policies without being racist. Obviously being raised by his white mother had more of an impact on him than his absent father.
I think that in the same way Abu Ghraib was held against Bush, that the IRS tactics should be held against Obama. Fair is fair. Except that there is most likely more evidence that the Obama administration was behind the IRS tactics than there ever was against the Bush administration for Abu Ghraib.
I agree with these comments. The Republicans as a whole are too afraid of attacking the Democrats. About the only bombastic Republican is Chris Christy, and he has now gone soft. This is why so many conservatives react with strong support whenever any candidate starts showing that he will attack Dems and their positions while defending conservative positions. I don't think that Palin is presidential material - but I do love it when she tells it like it is. Jan Brewer has demonstrated that she will stand up to Obama. The Dems need to be called out on their lies - big lies such as Benghazi and Obamacare - and little lies such as Harry Reed accusing Romney of not paying taxes - no false charge should be left unanswered.

Being intelligent in one field does not mean that a person has wisdom in other areas. My suspicioin is that he loses more by not going than Israel does by him not going. May God bless Israel as they face dangerous days ahead.
The Republican party should start publicizing her failure on the 3 AM call. They need to be proactive now - not waiting until 2015. She failed miserably - and people died.
They should ask for the photos of Obama in the situation room managing this crisis.
Only if her picture is posted all along the border fence - that would scare off anyone.
He was - and he should have stood his ground and defended his position. He was tough against his opponents in the primaries, but then was a nice guy when up against Obama. There are very few articulate, media-savvy Republicans who can stand against the liberal onslaught. Probably the best is Newt Gingrich - he can think on his feet and fight back. But his time is past.
I'm a strong conservative, but I like Hugh's suggestion on this. While my number one position would be to enforce the laws and encourage self-deportation because of the lack of benefits, I do not see that conservatives have the articulate spokesperson out there who could overpower the vast liberal push to legalize these illegals. That being the case, the issue then becomes how to get some conservative policies enacted out of immigration reform. While they are at it, they should also clarify the law to get rid of the "anchor baby" citizenship lure.
