Rand Paul Praises Navy SEAL Chris Kyle as a Hero

To paraphrase - Rand Paul: "I'm sane; don't put me in a category with my father." Ron Paul: "I'm sorry that soldier did what he did to make me say what I said, and, by the way, I stand by the insane comments I made yesterday." Sad to see Ron Paul's descent into inanity. Glad to see he's left a legacy of a son who is a fine man.

What do you mean "descent into"? Ron Paul has been inane for years.

True. But back when Ron Paul was a little younger than his son, Rand Paul, he was a cogent thinker who never would have made the stupid statements he's made in recent years.

USA-Go back a few years. He's been crazy for a while.

In light of the fallout over former Rep. Ron Paul's asinine statements about murdered Navy SEAL Chris Kyle yesterday, Senator Rand Paul told Breitbart the following:

“Chris Kyle was a hero like all Americans who don the uniform to defend our country. Our prayers are with his family during this tragic time.”

Ron Paul doubled down on his statements from Twitter yesterday on his Facebook page:

As a veteran, I certainly recognize that this weekend's violence and killing of Chris Kyle were a tragic and sad event. My condolences...
