The new age younger generation will be using all internet based tv's before you know it.And when that time comes no one will watch any commercials now will they.So yes the sponsors all flock to the station that has the most older white mostly retired people that even keep it on fox news through all commercials.There is a lot of the younger Liberals that completely keep up on the news using twitter and face book.This is why ABC, NBC, CBS have lost milions of viewers over the last seven to eight years.You can't tell me that you haven't figured this out.The news stations all have people scanning the net to make sure that they have things on that are going viral so it doesn't make them look backward.

I would hardly call two sentence "sound bites" keeping up with the news. It' more like validating their own views.
