Actually I work with the aging, especially impoverished elderly and none of them are lazy or closed minded. And, many became really angry with the Republicans for trying to eliminate Obama care. You may argue that Obama care hurt their Medicaid but many did not see it that way. But, they do have traditional values and moral ideas and they thought that allowing abortion was wrong. But, that was the much older persons. The new group turning 65 (10,000/day!) were young during the 60s and originally fought for birth control and abortion. The dynamics are changing even for the elderly.

Is it just me, or does a candidate actually have to reach out to constituents in order to win elections?
