I remember on the day before this year's election that Mike Gallagher was extolling his listeners to "pray for a Romney victory," that the listeners "should never underestimate the power of prayer." And the Christians just loved him for it. If he had said that he talked with God through his hair dryer, we'd have impeached him and had him locked-away. I fail to see how the insertion of a hair dryer into the discussion makes the point invalid.
