That's an outright lie ... the intent is to first remove guns, then register those that remain ... and that leaves the doors open to take the remaining guns. It's been done before in other countries, and now Obama wants to do it here.

President Obama just wrapped up remarks at the White House pushing for more "common sense" gun control measures as public support for new legislation wanes.
