As these companies are struggling, Sen. Harry Reid and Clark County (Nevada) Commissioner Steve Sisolak are furiously working to secure the final approvals for a Chinese Company, ENN Group, to build a 500,000 to 1 million square foot Solar Panel plant just outside Laughlin, NV. It will be called ENN Mohave Energy Corp. The Chinese corporation is already starting to advertise for Solar Engineers but stated that it may be hard to find qualified U.S. engineers. ENN Mohave Energy Corp will also erect a solar panel field and wants to sell the energy to California Energy Companies. Former U.S. Senator Richard Bryan is handling the legal problems for the Chinese Group because some patent restrictions need to be waived by the Federal Government.

Another day, yet another green-stimulus loan-guarantee recipient laying off workers. How sad is it that we've recently been hearing this and similar storylines so frequently that the theme is starting to feel kind of old n' busted? I mean, it's only throwing away billions of taxpayer dollars for the sake of a little socio-economic engineering, right? ...Facepalm. Via Beltway Confidential:
