Was the Secret Service Pornified?

I must concur with Ms Charen's root-cause analysis. If only right-to-lifers could see this. Porn and abortion are opposite sides of the same coin [lust]. Porn is the beginning of a series of mistakes, abortion the last chapter. Roe v. Wade could be rendered a moot argument if we, as a society, start going after the pornographers.
For decades Michigan has been in 49th or 50th place among the states for getting a return from the federal government. Michigan is the quintessential 'donor' state. The effite core of impudent snobs on both coasts enjoy free mass transit paid for by federal dollars...dollars sucked out of Michigan and Detroit. When we ask for a fair shake we get sand kicked in our face.
With all the free government money PP has received over the years, why don't THEY donate to the Susan G. Komen foundation? Why is Komen obligated to fund PP? Don't we have things backwards? Shouldn't Planned Parenthood be the ones getting out the checkbook?
With all the free money Planned Parenthood gets from the fed govt, why aren't THEY funding the Susan G. Komen Foundation? Why is it the other way around? Anybody know?

One on One with Ron Paul

Goldwater ran for president in 1964. He won in 1980. Ron Paul ran for president in 2012. History will repeat at some point. Paul is the only candidate who recognizes that both parties have a spending problem. And for saying that he's pilloried?

Exactly what brilliant fiscal policies did Mr. Clinton enact? NAFTA? And that's it! The fact is this: Clinton inherited Reaganomics. And he (Clinton) had enough sense not to mess with Reaganomics.

History Lesson for Candidate Ron Paul

I had no idea Ron Paul had so many detractors, thought for a minute I must be on HuffingtonPost. He speaks the truth as far as exposing the FED. In 1970 when I converted my GI life insurance policy to a civilian policy the face value, $10,000, would have bought 284 ounces of gold. Today that same amount of money ($10,000) buys 6 ounces of gold. Now consider this: In 1970 an ounce of gold would have bought 400 loaves of bread. Today an ounce of gold buys 400 loaves of bread. The true value of gold never changed. And as for amnesty for illegals, Ron Paul would cut off all the entitlements that impel them to hop the fence in the first place. He's strongly pro-life, and has himself as a doctor in private practice delivered over 4,000 babies.

Big gov't & big business are joined at the hip and that's why they never beat each other up too badly.
Ron Paul is right about a lot of things. Take marriage for instance. Do we really need a government to write or rewrite the dictionary? When a man and woman pledge fealty to one another until death, should they expect a benison from the government? Should they expect a coin from Caesar for doing the right thing? I really think Government needs to butt out of marriage all together--leave it to the churches.
