Progressive taxation is theft.

No one should pay more PERECNTAGE wise because they earn more. That is flat punitive and counter productive, economic dolts support extreme progressive taxation.

California raised taxes, and saw a 20% decrease.

No it isn't. Progressive taxation was designed by politicians, loopholes and all. It can be exploited by those with the resources to do so. The system itself is manipulated each year by the very politicians who created it, giving their friends tax breaks in return for campaign donations.

"Fairness" means every taxpayer pays the same rate without the need for complex formulae to determine what the actual number is.
