Ron Paul had a major impact on my life (and the lives of many). He strengthened the libertarian movement (the crazy idea, that we own our lives and our property). He also showed us how biased the media really is. From 9-11-01 till the 2012 Republican debates (over one decade) I was a huge fan of Fox News. Ron Paul showed me how screwed up they really were there. They never gave him fair coverage. They never mentioned that he was the ONLY candidate who wanted to end the income tax, tackle the fed, and address our National debt. Instead FOX rallied around a lame duck (once again), and lost (once again).

Presidential candidate and long time Representative Ron Paul said goodbye yesterday on the House floor as he prepares to make his exit from Congress after 23 years. He explained his consistent views throughout the past two decades and berated Washington for refusing to change or make hard decisions when it comes to the future.
