It's never been proven that Libby intentionally lied. He just gave two stories which didn't match verbatim. That could have been a memory issue. Maybe he did lie. I'm not certain. This guy certainly is not telling the truth.

Nearly three weeks ago, Baltimore County Police Chief James Johnson testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about what America can do to stop gun violence. During his testimony, he stressed the importance of the reinstatement of an assault weapons ban.

"The ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines must be reinstated. Like assault weapons, high-capacity magazines are not used for hunting, do not belong in our homes and wreak havoc in our communities," Johnson said.
