I often heard the same thing "James B. Davis" wrote..."Chinese culture is not that of a conquering nation". A direct descendant of Chairman Mao told me the same thing. However, times they are a changing...and so has the leadership of China. The ChiComs won't start a military war...they have us by our short hairs and know it. They have also figured out our political leaders today lack the gonads to stand up to any country that waves a stick at the US. The ChiComs have taken a page out of the playbook of Nikita Khrushchev...and plan on burying us from within, leveraging greed, lack of nationalism and lack of fortitude to manipulate us to a weak position economically...why fight when we'll readily sell out? We won't be China's...

The problem is Congress didn't read the bill, THEN ask their constituents their opinions, before they voted. They screw up and it cost every one of us...and I believe it only fair in return it cost them their jobs in Congress and penalize them by cutting their life long pensions...Oh, if only I were King of the World...

I'm guessing Jim McGovern has never read the Constitution, and it would be interesting to see his answer the question: Sir, have you completely read the Constitution, all of its amendments and The Declaration of Independence? I'm sure he would answer yes, with an indignant tone to hide the truth, but were he to be asked specific questions, I'm guessing he'd be "insulted" at the very idea of someone suggesting he didn't know the content of the most important legal document in the world.

In concept a great idea...however, the only downside I see is the a**holes at City Hall won't care and will enjoy eating the subject of their punishment...

Given the offended person's orientation, he could have probably made better cupcakes than the baker in the first place...

Just to make sure I understand: An independent businessman operates a cookie shop in a building he leases from his local city government (to which he pays more taxes and service fees than a non-business owner citizen) refused to bake rainbow cupcakes for a gay man because he doesn't make cupcakes...and made a 'personal' observation as the gay man left his business. The gay man was offended by this man who expressed his 'personal' opinion and filed a complaint with the city government, who in turn are now investigating the business man's 'personal' opinion for...what reason? Is there now a law against a person expressing their personal opinion? Do you give up your personal freedoms, protected by the Constitution, if you lease space...
The irony of it all is that a stupid person, by virtue of their stupidity, is not smart enough to know their stupid...and no amount of reason or debate can change their mind. The sad part is while as stupid as they are, they find others more stupid who admire them...AND VOTE them into office...
Smart competent people who has vast leadership experience like...say...a community organizer? Look...the obvious facts which neither Democrats or Republicans want to admit is they're one in the same. Both parties have nothing on their mind but stay in office once in office. I'd rather have a Congress full of common sense citizens who can withstand the song of the siren when ever they go to DC...to do the "People's Work"...I'm tire of the arrogance of Ivy League grads trying to run our lives because they believe we're not smart enough to run them ourselves. Everything the Democratic party stands for revolves around buying votes to stay in office...every social bill, every economic bill has to do with distributing the accumulated...
Nothing is more irritating than to read comments laden with accusations and aspersions about which most if not all are untrue by someone who has obviously never attended a Tea Party Rally and gets ALL of their information from the comments from others in venues such as this. Really...give us a break...the arrogance of the left is the fuel driving the engine of discontent from which the Tea Party, and apparently from most of Americans, gets their motivation to act...and more importantly to vote. November the 2nd will determine if you are correct...or the majority of others who comment on your observations.
