Woodward: White House Telling Reporters "You Will Regret Doing This" Makes Me "Very Uncomfortable"

Politico has posted the e-mail exchange, and as usual conservatives are getting all wee-wee'd up over very little.

Your problem is that you don't know exactly in what way Sperling thinks Woodward will come to "regret" referring to Obama's strategy as "madness". He may have meant it innocently, as in a scenario where it becomes revealed that Obama had a sane, rational, and logical plan all along.

OTOH, Sperling may have meant it as a warning that the administration will seek vengeance against Woodward. Given this President's obsession with revenge and in-your-face politics conservatives would be foolish to not interpret the worst and hope for the best.

In view of the fact that Obama has already released 30,000 illegals who were in prison, undoubtedly as an act of vengeance/retribution/political extortion against GOP Congressmen for not caving on the sequester, it is odds-against that Sperling's warning was as innocent as you contend.

Finally, CNN treated it as a threat. The video was posted on TH last night of their discussion about it with Woodward. CNN does get "wee-wee'd up" from time to time (can't you liberals at least talk like adults?), but not in opposition to the Obama Administration over "very little".

Screaming at and then penning veiled threats toward a respected member of the media is not "very little," except in the twisted mind of a suckup Obama justifier. Woodward told the truth. The sequester was Obama's idea and his hysterical objections are contrived bullkrapp.Nice try, but NO CIGAR!

Uhhh. clueless.
Woodward spoke of a heated exchange on the phone where he was threatened.
Your hero can do no wrong can he?
Useful idiot syndrome is at epidemic levels.

Here's WaPo's Bob Woodward discussing the threat he received from the White House after calling out Obama on his "nasty" sequester "strategy".
