Progs love to portray themselves as so-o-o brilliant - except when they have to play stupid to stay out of jail.

The Real Cost of Obama: $19 Trillion

As my great-grandmother said, "Paying people to not work will bring no good end." Only she was saying it about the Great Depression - the Progressives' Crowning Glory, at least until the Obama Administration. So the Governmental Wealth Destruction Machine has been running a lo-o-ong time now. It's just becoming virtually impossible to ignore. I still say the over/under for the survival of "The United States Of America" is 5 years - possibly 18 months if Obama senses that his RATparty will lose both the House and Senate in 2014.

On the Soviet Union, EVERYONE knew not to criticize government officials, especially Judges of The Peoples Court. Evidently, not all Amerikanskis have learned this lesson. But they soon will, once we move Forward.
The real mystery here is why the Wimpublicans would be so stupid as to nominate Sen. Tantrum McScamnesty for POTUS in 2008. McScamnesty's only political allegiance is to the McVain Party, which has two members: himself and Sen. Nancy Grahamnesty. I know, I know - it was "his turn" in 2008. Well, that has worked out well for the Wimpublicans, has it not?

Hooray! FINALLY someone has come up with a rational, workable, and effective solution for the current desperate crisis of Global Asteroid Invasion.
The Wimpublican "leadership" despises their conservative/libertarian base. After all, they go to parties with their "good friends across the aisle" - they wouldn't be seen dead with you except just before election time. Time for the whole house of cards to collapse. [And the immutable laws of economics and math will take care of that soon enough - Be Prepared.]
First Principle Of The Universe: Anything that cannot continue indefinitely will eventually stop." My over/under for the survival of The Nation Formerly Known As The United States of America - 5 years - and maybe just 2. What a disgrace: The greatest nation in the history of the world has been squandered like a 7-year-old kid's allowance.

So the Syrians claimed that the attack was upon a "scientific research center", huh? Apparently, even THEY didn't have to gall to claim that it was an "orphanage" or a "children's daycare center" - those have long been overused.

"...our nation is rapidly approaching our last chance to do something about runaway government..." With all due respect, Dr. Williams, I think that the "last chance" occurred long in the past. Like characters in a cartoon, we are sitting on a powderkeg watching the fuse burn. And make no mistake - there is NO political will in either political party to remedy any aspect of Titanic government.
If the background check included "racketeering" or "influence peddling", then clearly not.

"...become the world’s doctor over the next seventy [years]" Frankly, John, I think the over/under for survival of The Nation Formerly Known As The United States is five years - and possibly just two.
