And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the base of the modern Democratic Party.
Pretend for a moment, if at all possible, that you have some intelligent, critique, either for or against the plan. Seriously, reading your posts are like watching Batman from the 60's "POW" "ZAP" "BAM" "OOF" Except that was actually entertaining.
Amen. And I believe in the proper timing (a generation down the road when historians can actually quantify him) he will be viewed in a much more favorable light. The best part is he will have to be compared to the guy in there now. My fox terrier would look like a genius next to him.
I sometimes wonder if my children, the oldest of which is 11, will ever have the opportunity to see someone who is actually presidential in that office again. There is nothing presidential about the current occupant and he's never done anything that has made me say "that's my representative." The sad part is the democrat party used to stand for some good things, but those days are long past, I'm afraid. In today's democrat party, JFK wouldn't be given the time of day. A sad thought really

Boehner Wins: Jobs Speech Moved to Sept. 8

So let me see if I understand your position, Valerie. 1) The debate has been scheduled for several months. 2) The President decided two weeks or so ago he needed to give a speech about the job situation in America. 3) Unemployment has been above 9% for nearly his entire presidency. 4) The speech was "so important" that he needed to...go on vacation...travel through the midwest on a "listening tour"...play golf...all before giving the speech. 5) A speech before a joint session of congress is reserved for extraordinary events and/or state of the union speeches 6) Suddenly this "job plan speech" is an extraordinary event requiring a joint session of congress.

I really cannot believe how stupid some people are. I guess what I can draw from your comment is you have absolutely no clue. But then that is what we get when we dumb down our education system.

Really sick of hearing from "the Architect". Your turn in the sun is over. Shut up!
You people are missing the point! This post is Obama's idea of assisting the economy. Creating jobs by enabling chinese companies to knock off american goods and sell them on the internet... Brilliant! Sheesh...tell me again how we elected this fool?
Last time I checked, Reagan wasn't President....nor is Bush, Nixon, Eisenhower, Ford, or any other Republican. But nice try on changing the subject. Your superhero is being lambasted by his own party. And for the record, I'm sure Reagan's approval numbers, were they to be polled right now, would in fact be better.
WOW!!! 44% Approval rating! That's fantastic! Throw a party! He's POPULAR!!!!! Tool.....sheesh... Either way, your president is a loser...and his own party knows it...which is why you WILL see a challenge next year from his own party.
