Morgan is too busy formulating his next barb in his feeble mind to hear what his guests are saying. This is typical of many self-centered liberals who can’t think and listen at the same time - and they are so much more intelligent and compassionate than the rest of us……
We are facing the same dilemma in Libya. Libya’s problems won’t be over with the fall of Khadafy. The question remains who / what will fill the void left by his departure… will Libya be trading a dictatorship for another form of totalitarianism – radical Islam? ---------------------- The U.S. must do everything in its power to encourage and support democracy (political freedom, economic prosperity and self determination) in Libya and elsewhere in the Middle East, without becoming a military presence.
Sounds like our resident novelty-seeker has a thing for Tea Party guys…
Obama apparently had no plan to head off the Iranians and Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Egypt’s freedom from oppression depended on it. Just look at what’s happening in Lebanon and Tunisia. Iran is not Arab either, yet they are sticking their nose into Arab / Muslim countries. They are supporting Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas (read Muslim Brotherhood) in Gaza, and have established “Hezbollah offices” in Syria, Tunisia and Sudan. Iran also claims to have a presence in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Yemen and Bahrain. According to Homeland Security, Hezbollah members in the U.S. are in contact with Hezbollah in Mexico and other Latin America countries. Like Egypt, the rest of the world is vulnerable.
The liberal press were quick to praise the Obama administration, which really had little to do with Egypt’s revolution. Typical of liberal politicians, Obama’s position shifted with changing events. Obama told the Egyptian people that we are “soul mates“. The brave Egyptians are the real heroes, yet they stand to lose what few freedoms they gained.

Diana West is absolutely right. Libya’s problems won’t be over with the fall of Khadafy. The question remains who / what will fill the void left by his departure… will Libya be trading a dictatorship for another form of totalitarianism – radical Islam? ---------------- The U.S. must do everything in its power to encourage and support democracy (political freedom, economic prosperity and self determination) in Libya and elsewhere in the Middle East, without becoming a physical and military presence.
PM Netanyahu’s concern is for the security and safety of the state of Israel. His loyalty lies with his fellow countrymen as well it should be. I’m not sure where Obama’s loyalty lies or what his concerns are, especially since he has a habit of toadying to despots and radicals who would like to see the U.S. destroyed.
During the 2008 campaign Obama criticized the foreign policy initiatives of the Bush administration yet he continued those policies after his election, including the Iraq and Afghan wars, the use of Gitmo and tracking down UBL. Yet his own policies, such as attempts to appease the Iranian clerics and support of the opposition (read the Muslim Brotherhood) in Egypt (and probably in Libya, too) are abject failures. His rebuke of Israel (the only true democracy and true ally in the ME) and his insulting attitude toward Great Britain (our longtime ally) are an embarrassment to this country. So much for a “peaceful dialogue” between Assad and the opposition leaders, eh, Hillary?
The Dow is down 514 points at the closing bell today, wiping out all gains this year. Happy Birthday, Mr. president!

Michael, I thought I read recently that U.S. crude oil imports from Saudi Arabia were second only to Canada, around 1,200 thousand barrels per dayjQuery15204717492131933757_1312128614157?
