Like it or not, socialism has been a part of our culture since forever: insurance, roads, bridges, medical insurance, military insurance, taxes.... these are all examples of the government taking money from everyone and spending it for the good of the people, or citizens pooling their money together for the betterment of all other insured. Democratic socialism has been a benefit to you and others who think they did it all themselves. Unless you are a multi millionaire, how in the heck could you even THINK to vote for unregulated capitalists? If Mr. Magic Pants gets into office, capital gains will not be taxed. That means that all of those wealthy people who do nothing but take money from corporations will pay ZERO taxes, and you'll pay more

Under Romney you might be correct. Ron Paul was our best chance to "starve the beast."

As the campaign settles in for the home stretch, there are many reasons to believe that the Obama campaign will have trouble closing the deal. Chief among them are the numbers:

Unemployment
When the President took office: 7.8%
Now: 8.3%

Median Household Income:
When the President took office: Almost $55,000
Now: Less than $51,000

Price of Gas:
When the President took office: $1.85 per gallon
Now: $3.78 per gallon (more than double!)
