What he is taking responsibility for is the investigation as he has plainly stated: in other words - I take full responsibility for that fact that we're investigating exactly what happened.

Here is what happened: 4 men were brutally murdered because security was decreased prior to the attack in spite of numerous requests for more security from Ambassador Stephens and subsequent calls for help during the attack went unanswered because the forces were told to stand down. Any questions?
