The Conservative Insurgency

A repeating fatal flaw of the Republican Party has been to nominate statesmen instead of salesman for the grueling sales job of being a presidential candidate. After the less experienced, but more energetic and rhetorically gifted Republican wins then he or she can grow into a true statesman while on the job.

The Conservative Insurgency

A successful insurgency requires far more dynamic leaders than the milquetoasts put forward by the Republican Party. It's almost as if Republicans and demonrats are competing to be foster parents to children who have become fat and lazy. The demonrats offer free junk food, unlimited tv access, and a kiddie credit card. The mean old Republicans offer a more nutritious and limited diet, an hour a day on the treadmill, and 3 hours of homework every night. The Conservatives are appealing to the best instincts, but requires a more forceful and skillful sales pitch. The Republicans need a revolutionary action, to nurture and support a much younger and aggressive true Conservative for the Presidency such as Ted Cruz.
Reagan won against a severely politically wounded President in a much Whiter America. Is it just a coincidence that Kennedy, Clinton, and Obama are a combined 5 - 0 in Presidential contests and almost undefeated in Presidential debates. The high stakes salesmanship of Presidential contests will usually require a great deal of sustained energy, aggression, and very strong rhetorical skill. These are far better served by youth than old age. I'd like to see Cruz or Rubio against that tired looking Hilary Clinton.
If Romney had been 44 instead of 64 years of age he would have been able to maintain the level of aggression and intensity that was so magnificent during the first debate instead of throttling down to John Mccain like levels thereafter. When are us Republicans going to learn? We need to cultivate and support much younger people for Presidential candidacies. If Ted Cruz makes the strongest presentation of Conservative ideals, then I don't want hear the usual b.s. that he's not "seasoned" enough.
If the 2016 Presidential contest will be between sour, slow talking, wrinkled Hilary Clinton and the much younger and dynamic White Latino Ted Cruz, then from my perspective here in 2012, I like the Republican chances. The House election result of a very strong and very Conservative majority, is a truer barometer of the intrinsic political mentality of America than the heavily left-wing media warped Presidential election result.
Republicans need to get over their Old Man Syndrome in nominating Presidential candidates. How many times must Conservatives have to suffer watching younger democratic candidates defeat wrinkled Republicans in debates and have far energy and charisma on the campaign trail before the Republican Party wakes up? Kennedy, Clinton, and Obama are 5 - 0 in Presidential contests and almost undefeated in their debates against their much older Republican opponents.
The negative statistics from red States come overwhelmingly from the Obama zombies. Republican voting Southern Whites are very well educated, civil, physically fit, etc. Also, lefties stupidly consider any college degree, no matter how brainless or useless or no matter how uncompetitive the college, to be a symbol being "well educated". From the liberal perspective, highly skilled electricians and the like aren't "well educated", but a person with a useless degree in art history from low I.Q. Norfolk State is an intellectual. Crazy!
16 consecutive years of Presidents who needed Affirmative Action to get into Ivy League schools. Two reckless spending nitwits who are responsible for dumping a colossal tax burden on a future America that will be economically much less competitive than currently. We'll survive, but we won't thrive.
The impeached and disbarred former President came into office in 93 with the following advantages. 1) The economy was already recovering strongly under Bush. 2) We had won the Cold War which allowed massive defense cuts. 3) We had just won the Gulf War which resulted in very low prices throughout the decade. The Republicans did the work and slick Willie reaped the benefits.
Obama immensely benefited from the GOP takeover of the House. The Republicans blocked Obama's second attempt of economic malpractice. Obama's "jobs program" would have been another dose of socialist trickle down that would have detailed the economic recovery just as it did in 2009.
