Jesus Christ, Ted Nugent and Rosie O’Donnell Weigh in on Gay Marriage

I do not support male homosexuality or gay marriage. However in the interest of an honest exchange on the subject I would like to point out that the Scriptures should be read in context, not cherry picked to make a point. In verse 19:9 Christ also said " And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” Therefore the State has already rejected the Biblical and traditional concept of marriage with the "no fault a/k/a I am tired of you divorce". Not that two wrongs make a right, but the homosexuals are correct in claiming discrimination.

Ah, you miss THE vital point. Sin is sin. On that you are exactly right. The difference is the forgiven sinner repents. The gay culture wants equality based upon "my sin ain't no worse than your sin" but that overlooks, rather conveniently that your run of the mill Christian sinner is ASHAMED; wants to change and works at it, albeit unsuccessfully at times and for a time.
So the gay culture is off point when they take up the sin is sin excuse. Jesus makes a huge differentiation between the repenant and those who will not.

TRUST...the unmentioned detail to the above scriptures is this: That quoted passage pertains to Israel regarding "The Law" as recorded in the OT. Jesus Christ was the 'end of the law to all who believe'. With the arrival of the greater, the lesser no longer applies. See Romans chapters 3-8. It is also noteworthy that Jesus himself said that the Law and the Prophets were "...Until John" AKA John the Baptist. Sanctification was by WORKS in the OT. SALVATION is a Free Gift in the NT. It's NOT ALL OUR MAIL. Much is for our learning; the Epistles (Rom.-Thess) are written TO US.

I'm not sure I agree with your logic, except for when you said 'two wrongs don't make a right.'

I don't think libs base their views on any interpretation of the Bible, not even a misinterpretation. They worship the Self. They have no higher reference than what is convenient to themselves. No God, no Bible, no moral compass of any kind. That's why they are often aggressively secular.

The other day I was on a radio show being interviewed about my new Sandy Hook Massacre book when the conversation turned to gay marriage. I’m sitting there thinking, “Huh?” … “I didn’t sign up to talk about gay marriage” … “Good Lord, man, I’d rather watch Yoko Ono do an interpretive dance to “Riders on the Storm” then yap about two big lesbians wanting to get hitched.”

Anyway, I caved in and decided to follow the host’s lead and give him my redneck two cents on gay marriage; and here’s what I told him:

Number One. Before I...
