It is time to allow the states a voice in the process. The SCOTUS should be subject to override by a majority either the Senate or the State Legislature or 2/3 majority of the House. They should not be the final arbiter. Each decision that is to hold must cite chapter and verse of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. We cannot tolerate an oligarchy where these decisions are treated as holy writ.

Congress can override the SCOTUS. It is called a constitutional admendment. SCOTUS cannot call something unconstitutional if it is clearly stated in the Constitution.
