Governments do 2 things well 1) Take Money 2) Spend Money So far, they have been lights out in the Obama Administration.

The problem is that the GOP nominated a candidate that implemented his own version of ObamaCare. Unless Romney came out against his signature legislation, it was a lost issue. There was very little difference between ObamaCare and RomneyCare except RomneyCare was done on a statewide vs national basis. This was a distinction without a difference. The Dems ran a hard left guy that spoke like he was moderate. The GOP ran a soft left guy that did not know how to speak at all. Why would the conservative base come out for Romney? They didn't. Why didn't the GOP realize that Romney was McCain 2.0 and if the GOP isn't careful we will see another incarnation of McCain 3.0 as they search for the next RINO in line for the POTUS run. Right now, it is looking like Christie

I think that this is a cross roads. Will their be a country that will embrace free markets and the innovations that this brings and still allow the individual to keep the fruits of his labors? That used to be the USA. Whoever emerges will get a headstart on the the rest of the world.

Rubio got played or He's running as a Dem next session either for Senate or Prez

It has always amazed me how Blacks stay loyal to a party that tells them: 1) You too lazy to compete with the White man 2) You are too dumb to compete with the White man 3) You have no restraint over your urges So the Dems will give you handouts because their platform says you are inferior and pathetic. And this works???

What is wrong with enforcement first, then later, let's say 3 years after the border is secured, we address the plight of the illegals that are here. This is a deal that is fraught with peril for the GOP. The businesses that rely on cheap labor want this done ASAP. The Dems that will cater to the new poor with showers of gifts and programs in exchange for their vote can't wait wither. The GOP and the newly legally immigrant stand to lose. Why would those on the edge want to bring in millions to drive wages lower?

There won't be many politicians that would even consider this information. Politicians have huge egos and think that the world revolves only because they allow it. Any data to the contrary will be dismissed. In addition, politicians attain their power by injecting themselves into the equation and for the right donation or support the donor will magically get legislation that is favorable to them. What a coincidence!

It would have helped if Rubio had actually read the bill instead of touting what he would like it to contain rather than what was actually in it

What is wrong with the GOP when they back nonsense like this. Rubio was touting the fact that there were triggers in the bill that would need to be met before the illegal aliens were normalized. However, later in the same bill was the power for the HHS Secretary to waive all of the requirements. Do they really think we are stupid?

The sad part of this program is that it invades the privacy of all law abiding citizens in order to catch the criminal. This will catch the amateurs but the really sophisticated will devise means of hiding their footprints through different means
