Romney is a RINO duh! No Conservative has their own big government healthcare program - RomneyCare anyone? Yes, he was very successful as a businessman but he either had no clue about free markets or had such horrible speaking skills that he could not get his message out. We would have been better off with Gingrich or Santorum. If we really wanted a Constitutionalist we would have reached into the Ron Paul, Gary Johnson end of the spectrum. But no, the MSM and the establishment GOP backed Romney with hundreds of millions of dollars allowing him to drown out the competition

Sir I concur with the gist of your post. Romney was a milktoast candidate in a country that thrives on drama, theatrics, and hyperbole. In order to beat Obama Mr. Romney had to play the same game, speak loudly, outrageously, even insultingly. By affording Obama, the man, the respect due to the office Romney came across as the underling and weak. If any president is underserving of that respect it is this current tyrant. Like it or not the "Hollywood Nation" stetches from coast to coast and the average American is an entertainment addict. Without passion the message was unheard.

According to Pew Research, 54 percent of white voters under 30 voted for Romney and only 41 percent for Obama. That's the same percentage Reagan got from the entire white population in 1980. Even the Lena Dunham demographic -- white women under 30 -- slightly favored Romney.
