Coulter: Republicans Should Cave on Tax Hikes Because "We Lost the Election"

Unfortunately, Ann Coulter, is sayting what a lot of Repubs are saying- we(repubs), are going to get the blame no matter what- raise taxes- lose more of our base, stand on same ground, lose even more Dems support- let's face it, unless Repubs get out and really fight the Dems- the party is not looking good right now- gotta win the info war- that is he key- dispute the lies the Dems are telling, and stop just expecting to win with the same old strategies- use the Dem tactics (in the right way,) and stop being so nice!

tru, the Reps won't lose base if they don't fight a tax increase for the upper 2%. The RINOs might run into primary problems, but no base Rep is going to choose a high tax Dem over a tax hike Rep, any more than a Dem is going to vote for a Rep giveaway when he can choose a Dem giveaway. The PR downside of trying to defend the rich in the current climate is disastrous. As you say, winning the info war is key, despute and expose the lies, predict disaster, but refuse to be part of the process by either resistance or negotiation. Either course leads to getting blamed for the inevitable failure.

Unfortunately Ann Coulter is not conservative. Unfortunately the R i n o's get air time. Fortunately the democrats created this mess by not creating a budget and they are still large and in charge. If Bohner goes for this their is no difference between the party's and the whole bunch need to be replaced. or everyone will have to peaceable give up their guns because the government is spend money we do not have and taxing the rich is just going to prevent the rich from creating jobs.

Hannity to Coulter: "You sound like Obama." Fightin' words:

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?
AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.
SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.
AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point?  Recent polling has been gruesome...
