We call that Californication. And it appears to be almost complete. I never ever thought I would consider leaving my beloved state, but I'll be damned if I will have my rights trampled upon like this, and have someone else's socialist agenda shoved down my throat. If my fellow citizens don't wake up and make a correction in 2014, it's hello Wyoming for me.

However, I have faith. In El Paso County, our Sheriff has said that as far as he's concerned, all magazines are pre-ban, regardless of when they were obtained, and he won't enforce any of the laws. The vast majority of sheriffs in Colorado are saying the same thing. Now if we can just get the courts to make this right...

After the movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, the state’s Governor John Hickenlooper questioned whether more gun laws would really have stopped the shooter, James Holmes.

“This person, if there were no assault weapons available, if there were no this or no that, this guy’s going to find something, right?” he asked. “If it was not one weapon, it would have been another.”

But in an interview with the Associated Press in December, his tone changed. He said he needed a few months after the shooting to “let people process and grieve and get a little space”...
