Let the libs have CA. The reason the state is on life support right now is because of radical liberal policies for decades. When the states economy finally falls into the abyss and chaos ensues, maybe the voters in all the other liberal states will wake up and do something about it.

I like what George Will said a few days ago. Paraphrasing, he basically said the best thing for conservatism is to let liberals run wild. That's what's happened in France. And I hope that's what's happening here
That's the logical extent. When natural economic laws start tearing this thing apart for everybody in the system, they'll produce more man-made laws to 'fix it'. And then, of course, it will only get worse. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
Why do these columnists keep using Democrat and Democratic interchangeably? I get so tired of it. One is not the same as the other. It is the Democrat party ... period (sound familiar?), not the Democratic party. Democrats have nothing to do with democracy. I know it's a nit. But it's one of those little things that just grates on me, and I wish they'd stop.
Except single payer won't fix anything. It will relegate us to the same caliber of medical care as England and Australia.

The Passing of Progressivism

I wish I could share your optimism, but you have to remember that communists never give up power peacefully. Reid and the other criminals in the senate have already passed the nuclear option so that they have absolute control of the confirmation process for executive and judicial (except SCOTUS) nominees. As Obama and Democrat policies continue to unfold their pernicious effects on the people and their freedom, look for the tactics to become bolder and more aggressive. Oh no, it's far from over for the Progressives. They will scorch the earth before they hand it over.

The ACA was designed to fail. We must remember that the original intent of Barack and all who voted for the ACA was a single payer, fully socialized health care system a la Europe. But they knew the American people would not go for such a radical change. So they came up with the ACA with built-in failure. Why? Because in order to get the population to accept something bad, they must be shown something worse. The Obama acolytes are counting on the AC being so incredibly horrible that the masses will clamor for the government to save them with a single payer system.

I'm of the opinion that the ACA was designed to fail. This is because the original intent was a single payer system. How many of the proponents said that would be the best way to go while all of this was being debated? So why did they write it the way the did? Because they knew the American people would reject a blatant attempt at thrusting a single payer system on them. So how do you get the people to accept something bad? By showing them something worse. And that's precisely what they're doing with the ACA. We can enjoy the momentary satisfaction of the chaos. But when the roof finally caves, the libturds will be right there with their own version of "I told you so". Meaning the only way to fix this is to go to single payer. So maybe we should not be licking our chops just yet. It's far from over.
