Um, wait, wo, wo, wo Lawrenceepoo Odeaweful. I'm not sure you could have botched Mormon history any worse. Mormonism isn't a new religion, it's a continuance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That faith has been taught since Adam and Eve. Do a tiny bit of research and you'll find Joseph Smith was never a polygamist (like it really matters to him). Holy crap. A 5 second google search can give you that information. Polygamy in the Mormon church began with Brigham Young after Joseph Smith was dead. And what is with this whole story of lies about a maid. Sheesh. I've heard a lot of lies, but dang. Oh well, it's not the first time, and it sure won't be the last.

Smith was a polygamist , and you are right mormonism is not a religion , but a twisted cult founded by a sex addict and con man

Even if, Vintage Lad,

If widespread accounts of Smith's serial adultery are false, we can't assume it here. They led to polygamy in the camp, obviously.

His foolish story of golden plates and spectacles and a salamander who talked to him and the angel called Moroni, are plain BUNK! He may have seen an angel; but it wasn't from God. It was the devil sowing confusion.

He received no revelations. His Book of Mormon is NOT inspired. He was NOT a prophet or even a practicing Christian. Was he a sinner?

Yes; everyone KNOWS it. So are we all. He told his friends tall tales; they swallowed them. Today Mormons are still sinners believing a farce, not Christian doctrines.

Yesterday it was CNN's Kyra "White Guilt" Phillips telling us without any cited sources that Mormons believe marrying interracially is like an "uneducated person marrying a Ph.D."

Now we got MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell talking about Romney's "religion problem" and then goes on to tell us how the religion was "invented."

We can expect the MSM to fine tune their technique as to how they will present Romney's "religion problem" in the most nuanced way while causing the greatest amount of damage--all while claiming they are not attacking Romney's religion, of course.
