A Pentagon sponsored study concluded that financial subversion contributed to our 2008 fiscal crisis. The report concluded that "financial terrorism may have cost the world economy as much as 50 trillion dollars." Our massive public debt is said to have enabled the terrorist attack. China has been fingered as a likely culprit.

Chinese military have studied what they call the "nuclear option" of calling it's U.S. debt holdings as a way of punishing us for assisting Taiwan.

Chinese major general Luo Yuan said that China could attack the U.S. "By oblique means and stealthy feints" including "economic means such as dumping some U.S. government bonds."

Years before 9/11 a couple Chinese generals wrote that the U.S. was vulnerable to "asymmetric warfare," specifically noting that the U.S. wouldn't know how to respond to an attack by Bin Laden. Since 9/11 China has been supplying the terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan with weapons.
